Charlene Begley is President and CEO GE Industrial Enterprise Solutions. She was named to this position in August 2007.
Enterprise Solutions is a $5B global business comprised of Security, Sensing & Inspection, GE Fanuc Intelligent Platforms, and Digital Energy. It focuses on delivering high-impact, integrated solutions that improve customers’ productivity and profitability.
Begley began her career at GE in 1988. She has held a variety of leadership roles within the company including vice president of operations at GE Capital Mortgage Services, quality leader and later chief financial officer at GE Transportation Systems, director of finance for GE Plastics-Europe, vice president of the Corporate Audit Staff and CEO at GE FANUC Automation. In January 2003, she was appointed president and CEO of GE Transportation. In July 2005, she named president and CEO of GE Plastics.
Begley serves on the World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leaders, the GE FANUC Board of Directors and the Business Advisory Council at the University of Vermont. She is a graduate of the University of Vermont.
